My name is Mjirn. Of Mistden. It is very nice to meet you. now, this might seem rude, but... would you mind telling me your gender? I may not be Hume, but can you not see that I am a female? can you tell me your age? birthdate? maybe even where you were born? I was born seventy years ago on May 9th in Mistden. You seem troubled by this. Is it the fact that my age does not match my appearance that troubles you? that aside, with whom do you align yourself? I would say that I am classified as lawful neutral. so what's your occupation? got any special skills? I am merely a Wayward trying to make the best of my new life in Pinetown. what race are you, exactly? I am an elf. A Wayward to be precise. if you had one wish, what would it be? All I want is to go home. Is that not worth another's life? To be with your brethren again? appearance what kind of clothing do you like best? I enjoy wearing earthy, forest colors like greens and browns. They remind me of the Feywood. My favorite outfit to where would have the be my brown corset, green and tan jacket, and green skirt. any defining physical traits? As I am an elf, I have long, pointy ears. It's all right to stare, I assume you haven't met too many Elves. what about the hair and the eyes? I have long blonde hair and sapphire eyes. ooo... what's that mark you've got there...? My mother's name is Kaia, my father's is Vidar. I have no siblings as far as I know. But it is possible that since my banishment, my parents chose to bear a new offspring to replace the old... anyone else of importance in your life? High Councilman Nils was a dear friend of mine and my water master. I wish I knew how he has been since my banishment. now, tell me about your past. don't leave out any details! I was born in the village of Mistden within the Feywood. My mother is a salve maker and often told me stories of the travelers she met while finding plants for her salves. My father is well versed in the ways of water magic. He urged me to seek an apprenticeship with High Councilman Nils and learn the ways of water magic as well. Over the years, Nils became one of my best friends. I was determined to make him proud to call me his apprentice. But only two short years ago, I heard mention of a Hume town on the edge of the Feywood. I was reminded of my mother's stories, and decided that I would see what Hume settlements were like for myself. There is a saying the Humes have that fits my situation perfectly: “Curiosity killed the cat.” Before I even stepped foot back in the Feywood once more, word of my leave had spread through Mistden and all the way to the Grand Oak. I was called to the High Council and charged with abandoning the Feywood. I remember Nils' eyes were sad as he agreed to my banishment. He could not even look my way. I do not blame him, there are rules to be upheld. Since then, I have been a Wayward living in Pinetown. I do not converse with Humes if I can help it. I can't help but be angry at them for luring me away from the wood, away from my brethren... out of character what's your name, sweetheart? AmberLehcar what other characters do you play? They were going to die. It was the only thought running through her head. Elena stared up at the sky above her, once again thinking of how wonderful it would be to fly. Would Ryan save her? Maybe. But he would probably focus on the woman at the cliff first. But if he would save her, would he make it in time? She closed her eyes and whispered, “Probably not...” The wind whipping around her swallowed her words. They were going to die. At least she had been able to make a friend in Lyeant before her death. Yes, they were friends. Maybe she was still upset with him, but she still thought they were friends. She hoped he would be okay against the woman. What a thought, of course he would be all right. But still... there had been enough death that day. What would he do after she died? He would not cry. He was too strong for that. She hoped he would at least mourn for her a little bit. Mourn for his lost friend. Think of her every so often. Miss her. These thoughts brought a smile to Elena's face. If she had to die, she could die happy. Even without having finished her research. Eden moved in her arms. Elena looked at her and smiled wider. She would not die alone either. She would go along with her best friend. And so she closed her eyes once more and accepted her fate. They were going to die. And so she waited. And waited. And waited... She dare not open her eyes. The researcher had it stuck in her head that if she looked, it would be just before she hit the ground. But she did not think they had gone that far up the mountain. She did not remember the cliff being so high up. Certainly they should have hit the ground by now, like the creatures before them. Pushing aside her fear, Elena cracked open one eye to see how far they still had to go. The ground was still such a far way away from the two. She felt like they had been falling forever. How had they not hit the ground? Or at least gotten close? She looked even closer at the ground. Was it... moving further away...? How was that possible? Eden continued to move in her arms. Forgetting that the wind would swallow up her words, Elena called to the Eevee, “It will be all right, Eden! I don't know what's going on, but everything will be all right!” She looked to her companion to give her a smile, but an expression of shock replaced her reassuring smile. Brown fur was now blue. The tan tufts around the creature's neck was now white, soft and fluffy like the clouds. The researcher finally noticed that the movement she had been feeling was the spinning of twin tails. They were keeping them in midair! But what had happened to...? Realization finally set in. “Eden! You evolved!! You're a Breezeon!!” Elena cried. “Bree~!” the Pokemon cried as it continued its labored ascent. “We have to hurry! We need to make sure that Ryan is okay!” She was sure Ryan would not need her help, but just in case, she wanted to be there. The researcher was so proud as she watched the Pokemon fly. She knew that Eden could do it. Finally, they made it to the cliff's edge once more. Eden flopped down on the ground, exhausted. Elena kneeled down next to her and stroked her now sky blue fur. She looked up at the scene. Ryan and the woman stared at each other, sizing each other up and waiting for their opponent's next move. “Ryan! We did it! Eden evolved!!” she called to her friend. She began to cry once more, happy tears this time. She looked to the woman's Absol and hoped that it would not attack them again. She was not sure if Eden had enough energy for a battle.
